Homotopia: A utopia for homosexuals. A place where queer people go to socialise, work, eat, shop, learn, pray, dance or date where they feel they can be completely themselves.
Radio National has been exploring homotopias in all their forms: queer parties, a dance club, women’s footy.
But there are people working hard to make LGBTQI people feel safe and celebrated at work and school, carving out homotopias in everyday spaces.
