About me
I’m Luke. I’m a dispute resolution lawyer (Senior Associate) at Clayton Utz and former CEO and current board director of Out for Australia, an Australian LGBTIQ+ student mentoring non-profit. I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws and from the University of Sydney in 2016 with a Master of Laws.
My passions are talking about the law and about leadership.
I write about ideas and conversations that I have on how to make lawyers and other young professionals better, happier and more fulfilled. I am also a regular speaker on personal development and diversity and inclusion initiatives and was a keynote speaker at the 2021 TEDxUQ conference.
My articles and opinions are my own, but I acknowledge my family and friends that provide great support and advice to make each article better than the last.
As well as being great therapy, I hope my writing helps young professionals be the best that they can be and shines a light on the challenges of working life that are overlooked or underappreciated.
